Thankfully, you begin the fight automatically crouched behind a crate, and there are plenty more ahead and to your left. Unfortunately, they are also packing a great deal of firepower in order to take you out: expect salvos of rockets to be launched your way as this fight progresses. The well-armed Eclipse Mercenaries here are actually easy enough to fell. If you ignore it, Miranda will only gun down the guard before you regain control. If you're Renegade, take the Renegade Interrupt: this will cause you and your Squad to gun down the Merc Leader, his guard AND blow up the two Rocket Troopers in the back, all for +5 Renegade Points. You'll learn that while Oriana is genetically Miranda's twin, they don't share the same birthday and Miranda took her when she was an infant.Īs the conversation progresses it becomes clear that the Eclipse aren't going to leave and you'll have to fight your way through them. When you exit, you'll be given the chance to negotiate: respond with "I'm with Miranda" for +2 Paragon Points or "Get lost. When you arrive, you'll almost be shot down by the Eclipse until their Leader spots Miranda piloting it. When the conversation ends, you'll be taking to the docks in order to clear it of Eclipse mercs. Here, you can say "What should we do?" for +2 Paragon Points or "We're altering the plan?" for +2 Renegade Points. Unfortunately Miranda's contact, Niket, has discovered her father is sweeping the docking area with Eclipse Mercs, and has offered to move Oriana's family himself. When you begin landing, 360 owners will likely have to switch discs, so be ready for that.īringing Jack on this Mission will give the most unique dialogue.Īssuming you've done everything and are back after recruiting Samara, you'll be in the docking corridor with Miranda in your Squad. If you're interested in mining, here are the Rich planets in the system Illium is in, Tasale: If you've followed this guide in order, you'll have been here two times before for Shopping & Side Quests, Thane and Samara (with the interruption of the Collector Ship between recruitments). The planet Illium is near the star at the center of the system.

Agree to help her out, and you'll receive this Mission. She's down on the planet Illium, and Miranda asks you to head on down to the surface with her to ensure her father's agents get nowhere near her. While Cerberus has done a nice job of keeping both she and her sister safe from her father, who is endlessly seeking them out in the name of a "dynasty" he's attempting to create, her father seems to have found her twin and is trying to take her back. It appears that Miranda has a twin sister, also grown in a lab by her father. The only Morality Points here are for the opening conversation, where you can say "Of course" for +2 Paragon Points. Head down to Miranda's Office on the Crew Deck and talk to her to pick up her Mission. Once you've met the requirements, Kelly will let you know when you're near the Galaxy Map or when asking her how the crew is doing. For Miranda, you'll need to have talked with her twice beforehand so that you learn about her background, why she's with Cerberus, and the fact that she's a genetic creation grown by her overbearingly-dominant father. Upon your return from the human colony of Horizon, you'll receive the option to speak to a couple of your party members about issues of a personal nature.
